The Chubb Fortress Size 4 is the largest and most high-capacity model in the premier Fortress lineup. It is specifically engineered for commercial environments, banking institutions, and large retail setups that require extensive storage volume without compromising on maximum dual protection against sophisticated burglary attempts and intense fire.

Key Features & Construction

• Massive CENTRIX I Barrier Material: Built with a formidable 90mm thick body comprising inner and outer steel plates. These enclose a seamless, monolithic casting of Chubbsafes’ proprietary CENTRIX I barrier material, providing incredible resistance against physical impacts and thermal tools.

• Heavy-Duty Reinforced Door: Features a massive 138mm thick door (with a 30mm effective thickness) filled with CENTRIX I steel-fiber barrier material. The rear of the door is further fortified by a heavy steel pan packed with additional fire-retardant material.

• Uncompromising Locking System: Secured by a robust 3-way moving steel boltwork system utilizing 32mm diameter bolts, combined with a full-length docking bolt on the back edge of the door. Crucial lock areas are shielded by drill-resistant manganese hard plates.

• Dual-Lock Relocker Protection: Outfitted with a high-security German-made 8-lever key lock and a 3-wheel manual combination dial lock. An active Glass Relocker protects the mechanism, permanently deadlocking the boltwork if a forced entry attempt via drill or explosives is detected.
